Working on Kait & Jeff’s wedding photos today. These groomsmen… TOO MUCH FUN! Seriously. I’m laughing as I’m editing remembering the day.
So now that I am full time mama/full time photog I find it pretty much impossible to be an any time blogger. So I have decided what I will try to do from now on is post at least 1 shot from each shoot, just to keep things up to date on my blog as far as what I am up to. Maybe one day I will find the time to blog again, but for now I am lucky enough to be too busy and I think my clients prefer having their photos in their hands opposed to on my blog. 🙂
Thank you to all of you loyal followers and fans!!
Here is what I am working on today… The stunning bride, Diane!
More to come soon… maybe… no promises.
Last December I got to shoot Dannii’s senior portraits and it was one of the most fun days behind the camera that I can remember, EVER. Dannii is gorgeous and I loved her unique style and confidence. She is also a dancer which was SO FUN to shoot. Dancers just know how to move! Since I was a little girl I have always loved ballet and I remember seeing a ballerina being photographed on the beach when I was about 12 and thinking “hmmm… I’d like to do that someday”. This day, I finally got to do that. 🙂 We also lucked out with a magical rain free but slightly foggy afternoon, which added an awesome effect to the last shots of Dannii in her stunning prom dress, which were actually taken after sunset. And wow… Dannii was one brave girl because it was FREEZING cold!!! I still get chilly just looking at these photos, but I am so glad she was up for it because I definitely think it was worth the shivers in the end.
Thanks Dannii for the awesome shoot!!
Nathan & Linzey got married on October 20th and at the Governor Hotel and it definitely felt like that day couldn’t come soon enough for them! They needed no direction and were the easiest couple to photograph EVER!! Plus they were up for anything and we had so much fun taking photos at Cathedral Park, stopping traffic on the St. Johns bridge, making a quick stop for a few quiet coffee shop moments and then taking a little romantic stroll back to the Governor so they could make it official. They were also surrounded by lots of love and laughter all day long. I felt so lucky to be a part of it all.
It is so much fun photographing people so in love…
On November 17th I got to shoot Brady & Sarah’s wedding and I have been fortunate enough to have shot 2 of Sarah’s sister’s weddings already. The Larson family is an absolute joy to be around and Brady’s family was no different, which made for a wonderful day with wonderful people. This was my last wedding of the 2012 season and it was such a great way to end the year!! It was a morning wedding which was really fun and we got a perfectly timed break in the rain to do some outdoor photos of this gorgeous couple before they walked down the aisle. And then the reception took place at the Governor Hotel, which is a stunning location, and since it all took place before the sun went down I lucked out with gorgeous natural light for the entire event!!
Brady & Sarah are two truly beautiful people from the inside out and it was an honor to be there as a part of their wedding day. Here are some of my favorite shots…
