Alexis, Kaisha & Kasen|Family photos

On Nov. 5th I had my last shoots for the year, since I am about to become a mama (I am booking again starting in January), and I could not have picked a more perfect way to end. It was a super rainy day but the rain let up just in time for my shoot with Alexis, Kaisha & Kasen. They each have very unique and cool names and their personalities matched as well. These three were seriously the sweetest kids, so much fun to be around and to photograph.

Thanks so much to Kari, their awesome mama, for having me take your kids photos! I hope to see you all again soon!

Sara|Maternity Photos

In August I did maternity photos for my friends Sara & Geoff. It was so much fun doing this shoot with them! I have know Sara since kindergarten and Geoff since high school when he and Sara first dated, and his best friend Mason was my boyfriend. The 4 of us spent a lot of time together back in the day and it is so awesome that Sara & Geoff are back together and have created a little life! Another neat thing is that they are currently living in the house that I grew up in just down the street from our elementary school. And Kaylie’s room is my old room… so crazy to be back there, and so cool.

After we did indoor photos we did some outdoor photos with Sara’s godchildren, who are absolutely adorable. They were so excited to meet Kaylie and it was so sweet to see how much Sara loves being their godmother. I loved that she wanted them to be a part of the shoot.

Kaylie was born in September and she is beautiful! I will be posting her newborn photos soon!

George|Baby Photography

Back in July I did newborn photos for Scott & Mackenzie of their brand new baby boy, George. I shot Scott & Mackenzie’s wedding in 2009 which was a blast and I had so much fun doing their maternity photos in June in the beautiful area around where they live in Washington. I have known Mackenzie since elementary school when we used to wow the crowds with our amazing singing performances for the school talent shows every year and we also played softball together. It has been so much fun to reconnect with my old friend after all these years and to be able to witness and share in all these exciting moments in her life. And now I am having a baby boy in the same year so now the talent show tradition can continue. ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks so much Scott & Mackenzie for having me photograph all these special moments and congrats on your perfect baby boy!!!

Tony, Katie & McKenna|Engagement Photos

After the first phone call with Katie I was super excited about working with her and hoping I would get the chance to shoot her wedding, and then after meeting her fiance Tony and his awesome daughter McKenna I was even more excited. We met up at the Pittock mansion for their engagement photos a few weeks ago and since McKenna is so important to both of them it was important that she was a part of this shoot too, which I thought was really special.

There are more fun shoots in the future plans with this awesome couple that I can’t wait for and their wedding in May will be so much fun! Thanks so much Katie, Tony, and McKenna for a fun time, I look forward to many more!!!

Mark & Shelley|Courthouse Wedding

On October 15th I shot my last wedding of the year and it was a courthouse wedding with the awesome couple Mark & Shelley. It was the first courthouse wedding I have shot and it was such a fun change of pace. It was so intimate with just their family and best friends and a very quick ceremony that still had all the important elements. It was perfect.

I did family photos for Mark & Shelley earlier in the year and their daughter Kate is so cute and so much fun to take photos of. It was so much fun to be a part of this special day for them and get to meet their families and friends, and of course to get to take more photos of Kate too.

Thanks so much Mark & Shelley! I hope married life is wonderful for you!!!

Gotta love the mustache on a stick!
