Mike & Danielle|Postlewaits Wedding

On June 4th my wonderful friend Danielle got married to Mike and it really was the perfect day. The weather was absolutely gorgeous and Danielle’s creativity, cuteness and great style shined through every detail of the day. I have known Danielle since the 5th grade and when I think of her I always think of laughter, which her day was full of, and creativity, which her day was overflowing with. From the unique centerpieces, to the variety of homemade desserts, to the old type writer guest book… nothing was overlooked and even after all the weddings I have been to, I was blown away by it all. Photographing this wedding was so special for me because of all the great people I knew that were a part of it, but also to see my friend more beautiful and happy then I have ever seen her before. It was an honor and I definitely had to wipe away a few tears from time to time to be able to see through the lens. ๐Ÿ™‚

Mike and Danielle I am so happy for you both and thank you so much for having me photograph your absolutely perfect day!

Look at all of these amazing details….

Mike got goosebumps when he saw the reception area... I love that you can see the hairs standing up on his arm. ๐Ÿ™‚

Finishing touch from Mom.

Danielle's Grandparents were the last on the dance floor for the anniversary dance. ๐Ÿ™‚

As the sun was going down I stole Mike & Danielle for a few more shots.

The Burke Family

A couple weeks ago I met up with the Burke family downtown on a beautiful, slightly windy, evening. But the sun was out so we weren’t complaining. Maverick and Halle, their two beautiful kids, were so fun and gave me so many great smiles and as a whole family they are quite the good looking group. ๐Ÿ™‚ They made my job quite easy. Thanks guys for such a fun night. I feel so lucky to have such awesome (and good looking) clients!!!

Halle is such a sweetie!!!

Maverick is going to be such a little heart breaker.

The Ivey family (facebook comment contest winners)

The Ivey’s have been a constant part of my business since it began. I did photos for Whitney as she was starting to pursue modeling & acting, and then I was lucky enough to have this gorgeous couple, Jeb & Whitney, be the first wedding I ever shot (on my own). Starting a business begins with people trusting you to give them the product they are looking for, and Jeb & Whitney did that for me and gave a beautiful start to my portfolio, so it seemed fitting that they were the winners of the comment contest I had and it gave me the chance to give them something back… a free family shoot. So here are some of my favorite shots of one of my favorite families ever!!! Thank you guys for having me be a part of so many big moments in your lives! Love you!

Always stunning!!!!

Kisses for everyone.

Baby Kelton

So first I would like to apologize for the length in time since I last posted. I have been so busy and putting clients before the blog posts. But I have had so many awesome clients lately and I just had to get back to sharing photos of them. ๐Ÿ™‚ So here I am… back at it.

A few weeks ago I got to take photos of the brand new and absolutely adorable baby Kelton. I met his awesome parents, Clayton and Kelly, a little while before he was born and we had a great time taking maternity photos of Kelly’s perfect little belly. They also totally spoiled me, Kelly gave me a cute shirt on our first shoot and Clayton brought me a delicious sandwich while I was at their home for the second shoot. I am sad to say they have recently moved, but I feel so fortunate that I got to meet them and take photos of this amazing time in their lives while they were in Portland. Thanks so much Clay & Kelly!!! Best of luck with everything in your future together!!!

How perfect is this little guy???

Molly & Jack|family photography

I got to take some photos of the hilarious Molly and her brand new baby brother Jack. My sister in law Anne babysits these two quite often so I have had the pleasure of spending a little time with Molly and she is such a funny girl, but this was my first time meeting Jack. He was so sweet and Molly was a very sweet big sister with him while we were taking photos too. These photos of Molly crack me up, she and Jack are both so cute. I hope I get the chance to take more photos of them in the future.

Thanks Amy for having me take their photos (and for all the maternity clothes and baby gear)!!!
