This was my second shoot with the awesome Healy family. Remember Owen? Well for this shoot he was as cute as ever and I actually got his first time sitting up on camera. It was pretty cool. I got to meet some of Andy’s family, his Dad and his sister. They are all such great people and I just love doing photos for the Angela & Andy, and their families. Here are some of my favorites from our time together…
Before baby George joined the world he was growing in Mackenzie’s belly. I went out to Yacolt, WA to do maternity photos for Mackenzie and Scott at their home and nearby beautiful outdoors. It is gorgeous in the area surrounding their home and I have a feeling George will have a pretty amazing childhood exploring the area that is practically his own backyard. Days like that really give me a huge appreciation for living in the Northwest.
On May 7th I got to shoot my first Las Vegas wedding for Ben & Aimee. I have had quite a few Vegas trips over the years but this was my first “business” trip there and I was also pregnant, so I got to see Vegas in a different way than I had before. My husband came with me to helped shoot the wedding and also to play craps… with Flava Flav. 🙂 Only in Vegas!
We had a great time while we were there and it was so much fun to be a part of Ben & Aimee’s wedding. They  are truly best friends and they had such a great group of people there to help them celebrate. They recently found out they are having a baby boy and I am hoping I will get the chance to take photos of their little guy when he arrives. I love being a part of all these awesome moments in people’s lives and seeing love grow into a family.

I shot Tami & Brent’s wedding in May, but before their big day Tami wanted to get a few shots of them together. So we met up for a mini engagement shoot at the Cornelius Pass Roadhouse. In the short amount of time we shot we lucked out with some beautiful light and it was so fun to get to work with these two, and Tami’s awesome son Mason, before their wedding day.
I’ve talked a lot about how much I have lucked out on the weather this year… the day I met up with Ryan & Francesca for their engagement photos I wasn’t quite so lucky. But even though it decided to down pour about 15 minutes after we started shooting at the park we found a spot under trees to hide out and get some cool shots and they are such a great laid back couple that they just laughed about it. Eventually the rain let up and after shooting at the park we headed to Multnomah Village where they have spent lots of time together as a couple. It is such a cute area and they are SUCH a cute couple. I love the way Ryan looks at Francesca, you can just see how much he loves her in his eyes.
